With 25 years of pharmaceutical business intelligence and market research experience KDM Worldwide Limited provides top quality consultancy to both pharmaceutical companies and agencies
alike. With strategic thinking brought to bear on any business intelligence challenge, whether it be in running a project in-house within the marketing team or writing a proposal for a new
business pitch, the approach is tailored, thought through and diligent.
The company offers clients flexible solutions to resourcing issues within their business intelligence/market research departments/teams, by undertaking short or medium term contracts either full time or part time. Key skills include strategic thinking, market understanding to provide insights across the whole business, ‘full’ project management (qualitative and/or quantitative) for international or UK domestic projects which result in marketing, sales, health economics and finance departments having actionable research on which to base key business decisions. KDM Worldwide Limited has completed contracts for leading pharma companies including AbbVie, Astellas Pharmaceuticals (European HQ and UK affiliate teams), Merck Serono and Novartis as in-house Business Intelligence Manager, covering for secondments, maternity leave, unbudgeted headcount etc.

Prior to setting up KDM Worldwide in 2008, Kate Marlar (Managing Director) worked for TNS Healthcare (now Kantar Health) for 16 years. For the last 5 of those, she was Senior Group Director on the International Healthcare Board, responsible for the multi-client services. Senior management responsibilities included strategic development and implementation of the agreed strategy, financial management of the division with P&L responsibilities, recruitment to the department, marketing liaison for specific branded solutions/events etc.
Kate joined CompuFile (which became Cegedim Strategic Data/CSD) in 2005, and as Commercial Director had responsibilities which spanned both the multi-client services (Patient Data, Promotion Data, NCTE) and all the ad hoc/primary market research both for international and domestic clients.
